FEE STRUCTURE FOR 2018-19

Dear Parents, 

In line with the recent decision by the executive Council, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) confirms that there will be no fee increase for all private schools in Dubai for the academic year 2018-19.

Attached herewith are the Annual Fee Charges for the Academic Year 2018-19

Also, we would like to remind you that the parental signing of contract for all registered students for this academic year is mandatory. For newly admitted students, please make sure that the child is already KHDA registered before doing the contract signing. 

Non signing of the parent contract will result in the deletion of the child’s name from the school rolls and the KHDA system for the academic year 2018-2019 (as per KHDA rules).

From this year the contract can be signed in school as well as at home using KHDA APP. The last date of signing by mobile is 30th June 2018.

Dear Parents,

This circular is being sent to inform the procedure and importance of signing the parent contract. Parental signing of contract for all  registered students is mandatory. For newly admitted students, please make sure that the child is already KHDA registered before doing the contract signing.

  1. Download the KHDA APP.
  2. The username will be either the Emirates ID/Email ID/mobile number registered with KHDA.
  3. All parents must download the KHDA App. The contract is available on the App.
  4. Use the username name and password to complete the contract signing by following the instructions as given by the App.
  5. A copy of the optional activity selected and submitted by you is being attached with the circular. It has been already updated in your fee schedule.
  6. Ensure that you select the same optional activities to avoid any inconvenience.

Please note that the contract once signed is binding. Any non-adherence will be deemed as a breach of contract. The last date for signing the contract by mobile is 21/06/2018.

Dear Parents,

We would like to request parents  of  NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS       (Grade XI) to expedite the process of submission of the  necessary documents.

  1. NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS from overseas and other Emirates must  submit the student’s Overseas/Inter Emirates Transfer Certificates (attested original copy) on or before 14th June 2018. For the same, registration of original Emirates ID (EID) and Parent’s Emirates ID is MANDATORY on or before 14th June 2018. 
  1. For NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS that are coming from local schools,   student’s  local Transfer Certificates (TC within Dubai school) must be electronically transferred to our school from the previous school. Please follow up with the previous school and expedite the transfer of the document on or before 14th June 2018. Please provide the reference number below if you already have begun   the procedure for transfer.

For all students of Grade XI the school needs the following documents for the CBSE registration of your ward. Please submit all documents to class teacher latest by 14th June 2018.

  1. Copy of Passport with Stamped Visa
  2. Copy of Emirates ID Card
  3. Copy of Migration Certificate (New Students)
  4. Copy of Report Card/Mark Sheet (New Students)
  5. Original Good Conduct Certificate (New Students)

The Holy Month of Ramadan will begin from 16th May 2018 (please refer to media for confirmation). This is the month which teaches us the importance of leading a virtuous life. It also teaches us to look after others and not to be self -centered. The importance of disciplining ourselves mentally as well as physically is highlighted during this Holy month. Today’s generation also needs to learn the importance of sharing. Now is the time to inculcate the noble qualities of discipline, hard work and charity in our children. The fast pace of life and the race for materialistic possessions leaves us with precious little time to devote towards the imbibing of these desirable qualities. These qualities are the fulcrum around which human life revolves. Our children need to learn about them as well as imbibe them. The Holy Month of Ramadan is the apt time to introduce our young ones to these noble virtues and the school is the right place for it. But we need your support in this noble endeavour. Please counsel your child as and when required about the importance of leading a disciplined life and putting in sincere hard work in their studies. The virtue of charity can be taught to them by example. Let us take this opportunity and put in our best for the betterment of our children.

For smooth conduct of the school day during  Ramadan,  the following time schedule  comes into effect from Sunday, 13th  May 2018:-

Please make arrangements to collect your child. Ensure your child comes to school regularly. Attendance is compulsory for promotion. Please expect a little delay in drop off time due to the heavy traffic. We regret any inconvenience it may cause.

Morning pick up time for students using school transport will remain the same.

As we approach the end of the academic year we find it necessary that a Parent Teacher Meeting session needs to be held to address any last minute concerns and discuss your ward’s performance before they plunge into their respective final exams.

We have scheduled a Parent Teacher Meeting for Grade I to XI on Tuesday, 13th February 2018 from 8:00AM –2:00 PM. It will be a Non Instructional Day (Holiday) for Grade I to X.

You may also take this opportunity to discuss crucial areas that can be focused on during the remedial teaching. Kindly ensure your presence as it is a crucial feedback period to support your wards. Dear Parent,

As we approach the end of the academic session it is crucial to secure your seat for the next academic year.  This step is initiated to help parents seeking  admissions  and most importantly to ensure students secure the full set of books  and receive them on time.

It is mandatory that all parents who wish to continue their wards schooling with us, must ensure to pay the Re- Registration fees for the next academic session by   15th of February 2018.  Re-registration fee will be adjusted with the school fees for Academic Year 2018-2019. 

Parents are reminded to ensure that all the school fees dues are cleared latest by               15th February 2018  to avoid seat cancellation for the next academic year.              Re-registration payment can be done only after clearing all fees (January, February & March fees). 

Transfer Certificate forms will be issued only after clearing all fees (January, February & March fees). Please submit the duly filled TC application form to the Accounts Department  along with  your ward’s  passport copy and TC processing fee. Overseas/Inter Emirates  TC  will be available approximately 2-3 weeks after the final Open House. Local TC (schools within Dubai) will be transferred electronically. 

Transport Users are urged to ensure transport continuity forms are filled and sent back   latest by  8th February  2018 to the Transport Department.

Dear Parents,

With the academic year 2017-18 approaching its finale and the CBSE publishing the AISSCE schedule, it is time to bid a warm farewell to our Grade XII students and wish them the very best of luck.

As per tradition, ‘Graduation Ceremony’ has been planned wherein we make the parents a part of the function. An invitation to this landmark function will be sent in due course.

Many of our parents have opted for the graduation day package in the parent contract. Accordingly the amount is being received by the school with every installment. Below is the schedule and rules of their photo session:

 RULES:

  1. Parents are requested to ensure that their ward is present on the day his/her class is scheduled to be photographed. In case your ward is absent the photograph kit will have class group picture without the student.
  2. On the said day of class photography, all students have to come in regular school uniform. School sweater to be worn with school uniform.
  3. All girls with shoulder length hair must tie one high pony with maroon band. Those having hair longer than shoulder length must come in two(2) braids. No bangs. No highlight.
  4. Only stud earring can be worn by girls.
  5. NO MAKE UP (eye liner, kajal, lip tint, etc.)
  6. White socks and school black shoes (no boots, no heels).
  7. All boys must ensure their hair is cut neatly. Clean shave.
  8. One sided skin head shave, designed shaves on head and highlights are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED.

Students who wish to be a part of this grand function but have not opted for it in the parent contract, can do so by paying Dhs350/- latest by Tuesday,      16th January 2018.

Dear Parents,

Memories of school life are highly cherished by all. One of the most pleasant experiences is to look at the class photograph and recall those magical school days spent in the pursuit of learning but also full of happiness and laughter, and adventurous moments spent with friends.

The Annual  Class-wise Photo Session is scheduled from Monday,        15th January 2018 to Tuesday, 23rd January 2018. The photograph kit includes class group picture + passport size picture + one portrait picture. The parents who have opted for the photographs in the parent contract are requested to ensure that their ward is present on the day his/ her class is scheduled to be photograph. In case your ward is absent the photograph kit will have class group picture without the student.    Please note it will NOT be possible to place the child’s photo in the class group picture.  Please refer to the class-wise date schedule given overleaf.

Parents are requested to counsel wards with regards to rules on attire as mentioned below :

  1. On the said day of class photography, all students have to come in regular school uniform.
  2. School sweater and tie to be worn with school uniform.
  3. All girls with shoulder length hair must tie one high pony with maroon band. Those having hair longer than shoulder length must come in two(2) braids. No bangs. No highlight.
  4. Only stud earring can be worn by girls.
  5. NO MAKE UP (eye liner, kajal, lip tint, etc.)
  6. Knee length white socks and school black shoes (no boots, no heels).
  7. All boys must ensure their hair is cut neatly. Clean shave.
  8. One sided skin head shave, designed shaves on head and highlights are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED.

Parents who have opted for the annual school photography  are requested to please fill the attached acknowledgement slip and send by Sunday,    14th January 2018.

If you have not opted for class photograph in the Parent Contract but wish to be a part of the photography session and accumulate pictorial memories of the year, you may do so by paying Dhs70 and ticking on the class photograph option attached with the circular.   Please send it latest by Sunday, 14th January 2018.

Circular regarding highly contagious infections

Dear Parent,

As you are all aware, cases of Chicken Pox, Severe Cough, Vomiting and Flu Viral Fever (highly contagious infections) have been reported across the city.  “Prevention being better than cure”, we request you to be vigilant about this issue.  If you notice any symptoms (fever, vomiting, headache, outbreak of rash or swelling of face) in your child, please consult your physician immediately and send your child only after he/she has been given clearance by the physician.  Please send the fitness certificate (on the letterhead of the polyclinic with the physician’s signature & seal) on the day the child returns from medical leave.  This is to avoid the spreading of infection among the students. (Please note: the approximate days after which child can report back is 14 days for chicken pox and 7-8 days for severe cough and fever).

 Do not send your ward to school whenever they complain of fever, headache and vomiting or any sort of sickness like conjunctivitis (redness of eye). Please observe and take the necessary steps. Also note that if the child shows symptoms of any of the above mentioned illness during formative assessments, please DO NOT send the child until he/she is better.

30 Minutes  of work out for 30 days to a fitter self

A month of intensive workouts, where students challenge themselves for ‘Stronger Minds and Body ’.

Dear Parents,

The Elite English will be participating in the “ 30 X 30 Dubai Fitness Challenge” in full throttle to support the vision of Dubai Government towards  a fitter and healthier community. Students are requested to come in tracks set  from 29th October  to November 26th 2017.

We have also considered that since many have only one  school track thereby in lieu of the Fitness Challenge Month, for the period 29th October to 26th November  students are allowed to wear black track pants with any color T shirts along with sports shoes. Strictly no sandals , no knit wear . The sports wear must be only black track pants and any color sports T-shirt.

We have a series of fitness programs for the various sectors of the student body as we hope we will be able to raise an awareness amongst the  student body by implementing healthy practices as part of their daily routine.

As always we would expect our parents’ full support during these days.
